What to Expect

The following 10-step process provides important information on how your custom pool will be designed and built so you will know what to expect.

  1. Our pools are designed to fit your individual needs based on your yard, house, budget and city codes. Our goal is your vision.
  2. Your pool will be drawn and staked out for your approval before excavation.
  3. Excavation begins. All dirt is hauled off and walls are hand dug to insure flat-sided construction.
  4. By the end of the day, the depth and shape of your pool is complete. Your vision will soon become a reality.
  5. Pool steel is tied with 3/8" rebar on 8" center with 1/2" rebar for bond beam. Reinforcing steel is then added to the bottom tied on 4" center. Pool steel exceeds all city, county and state codes and tied to all decks to minimize deck movement.
  6. Pool walls are shot 6" and bottom shot with 9" of high quality gunite and a 12" by 12" bond beam. All swim outs, loveseats and benches are shot 18" wide for added comfort. Your pool shell comes with a lifetime warranty.
  7. Decks are poured 4" thick with 3/8 rebar tied on 12" center. Piers are included where needed to insure stability. Deck drains are added as needed and decks are pitched so no additional rainwater drains into pool.
  8. Sprinkler system will cap at excavation. Electrical work and plumbing installed to meet your needs (many options available).
  9. Your yard will be leveled, all trash hauled off and drainage of decks will be installed.
  10. Two coats of standard white plaster will be applied having a combined thickness up to 3/8 inch thick. Beautiful colored plaster upgrades available. Time to fill your pool.  Finally, you will be provided with detailed instructions on maintaining your new pool
